The Gospel-Grounded Life

In the sweltering heat of summer, nothing refreshes like a plunge into cool lake water. If we merely stand at the lakeshore and get our toes wet, we miss the lake’s full refreshment. So it is with the gospel. We who are immersed in Christ positionally are meant to live in Christ practically. We’re called to a full-throttled dive into a Christ-centered reality... a life of joy, and its companions: ”Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:2 – NKJV) This Sunday, we’ll begin a study of Philippians – a hope-filled, joy-drenched letter to believers facing profound difficulties.
