Do This in Remembrance of Me

In this lesson we find Jesus and His disciples in the Upper Room celebrating the Passover together for the final time in Jesus's life. We find several interesting things here, including that Jesus indicates that the kingdom will not come until He celebrates this meal with them again, the implication being that the kingdom is a yet future time. We also see that Jesus's death is the fulfillment of the Passover sacrifice, and that He is the sacrifice for our sins, delivering us from the penalty of sin, which is death.
