Our Generous Father

In the parable of the prodigal son, the father went way beyond what the son expected or imagined. The son was hoping to sleep in the barn and work for his father. He was hoping to simply be allowed back as a hired servant. But the father astonished him. He ran to him, embraced him, kissed him, called for the best robe, a ring, sandals and a celebration party. This is how our heavenly Father treats us. He does to us and for us exccedingly abundant beyond what we ask or imagine. His generosity and love are boundless and beyond comprehension.
