David Driven to Dual Agency

As He does to all believers from time to time, God directed David to a place he did not want to be... in self-imposed exile from his nation and homeland. But David found God's purpose in it and got busy posing as an ally to the Philistines while simultaneously destroying the enemies of Israel. David was not where he wanted to be, but he made the best of it in accomplishing God's will in it.
