Hebrews 10:32-39

Finishing Well!

Main Idea: You must endure to the end to be saved!

• You have endured (32-34)
 You were enlightened (32)
 You had a hard struggle with sufferings (32-33)
 You had a better and abiding possession (34)
 You had compassion on those in prison (34)
 You joyfully accepted the plundering of your property (34)

• You must continue to endure (35-39)
 Do not throw away your confidence (35)
(which has a great reward) (35)

 You have need of endurance (36)
 When you have done the will of God (36)
 You may receive what is promised (36)

 Because:
 Christ is coming soon (37)
 The person who is justified will live by faith (38)
 If he “shrinks back”, God has no pleasure in him (38)
 Righteous ones will have faith and preserve their souls (39)
