Why Kill Ananias and Sapphira? You'll be happy to know, it's not why you think

During the pregame show pastor talked about the signs of the times we are seeing now, and how they lead up to the tribulation. Specifically the Chinese cloning and DNA modifying ability. And they, along with other countries like Israel, are figuring out how to prolong life indefinitely. For those who don’t know, that’s the kind of thing that was going on in the days of Lot. Wait... you thought it was “that other thing” that caused God to destroy Sodom? Ops, sorry... Okay, not really... fake sorry. (And that’s how we do it at Cliffside. “Driving away the visitors every Sunday, no matter what.”)

But in this lecture pastor is going to get right back to our discussion of Ananias and Sapphira, where we left off last week. He will be fleshing out the vague hints that were given out and, if you watch and listen carefully, that light of, “Oh, I think I’m starting to get it” might just come on for you. Or maybe a few of you got it last week. You guys surprise us a lot like that. Even some of our local, more astute, Cliffside attendees are still like the old RCA Victor dog with their heads tilted to one side. So if you’re tired of preachers that beat you over the head with Ananias and Sapphira because “you don’t tithe as like you should”, this lecture, and the previous one, is definitely for you.
