Cause Me to Live and Learn Your Word (Cause Your Word in Me) (Ps 119, stanza 5)

The fifth stanza of Psalm 119 is the Psalmist's bold petition for God to 'Cause Me to Learn and Live Your Word.' Each line of the stanza is a humble but bold request for God to work in and through the Psalmist. These requests begin with the foundation of pleading for sanctified Mind and Motives. From this foundation flows the requests for sanctification in Actions, Affections and the believer's Assurance. Oh, that the Christian--and the Church--would boldly come before the throne of grace with these petitions sincerely and consistently!
