How does the Spirit of God make a difference in the life of the Church? He empowers and gifts His people to walk before God faithfully by God’s enabling power and grace.
Christ’s people are to know who they are before God and to walk by the Spirit as those who are empowered to
overcome indwelling sin. Samson is set-apart, Spirit-filled, and at the same time sinful; Samson is a true representative of the church. Israel desperately needs a Savior-Deliverer
who will be a prophet greater than Moses and fully deliver the people from sin, but Samson like Israel struggles with his identity of being God’s chosen man, and does what is
right in his own eyes.
