Ascension Day IS "Instututional Church Day"

The world hardly notices Ascension Day, but for the Church of the Lord Jesus, it marks an important day in the History of Redemption. After Christ's Life, Death, and Resurrection, he instructs and prepares His Disciples spends for 40 days for the Work that was before them. He received GIFTS from the Father and shares these gifts with his people, the Church.

He had told them that it would be to their advantage that He go away. For if he would go away, he would send them another COMFORTER John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you."
