Truly Apostolic Christian Life

The super-apostles were full of boasting about wrong things, and their manner toward others was abusive. But boasting is folly, and even when indulging this folly for instructional purposes, the true apostle boasted in being brought low. By following the theology of the cross, rather than the theology of glory, his character was being shaped exactly opposite the false apostles' abusiveness. He considered spiritual weakness and stumblings of others to be his greatest trials.
