Satan #1: The Names of Satan

C. S. Lewis wrote that "There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them." There is a possible third error: apathy and neglect. Though all Christians are immediately drafted into the war against Satan upon conversion, we often forget who we are as soldiers and act as if the war does not exist. In this introduction to the series, “Wrestling the Roaring Lion,” we take a look at the nature of this war, the creation and fall of Satan, and the ten names the Bible uses for Satan.
