Text: John 14:27
Because of what He has told them at the end of chapter 13, our Lord now in chapter 14 seeks to console and comfort his disciples. Jesus brings peace to all those who are distraught and disturbed.
Our text this morning teaches us that:
- True peace with God comes only through Jesus Christ.
- True peace as compared to the false peace offered by the world.
- True peace rids our heart of troubles.
