Our Ascended Advocate

Christ, having ascended to the Father, seated at His right hand, rules and reigns in such a way as to strengthen and embolden our faith - our constant worship and witness of Him. This evening we continue to examine the blessings that belong to believers, to you and to me in relationship to Christ's exalted ascension. These benefits are thus, that Christ is our advocate, that our membership is in Heaven, and that the Spirit is the pledge and power given to us that expresses our eternal union which manifests itself even now on earth through hearts committed to God's glory and grace.
