This booklet is a brief study on the differences between translations based on the Textus Receptus and the Critical Text. Filled with comparison examples it is an excellent guide to readers on the various Bible versions and which Bible version remains a faithful translation to the original Biblical languages.

From the outset of his dealings with mankind the devil has sought to undermine our confidence in the Word of God, especially in those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ. He has done this especially by promoting a corrupt text of Scripture as the true Word of God. When this text is subjected to the Christological test it is found to be seriously wanting concerning the Person and Work of Christ.

It would be quite wrong to say that modern versions bear no testimony to the truths considered in this booklet, as a systematic survey of the complete contents of these versions will show. Yet at the level of individual verses or passages here is a dangerous, cumulative undermining of important truths. The fact that these alterations go unnoticed by many who read modern versions or hear them read makes the matter all the more serious.
