Comfort for the Perplexed

God's people may well go through times of perplexity, feeling that they have been passed over and forgotten by God. In these times of difficulty the right question is not "How can God let this happen?", but "Who is God?". The glorious vision of God presented in Isaiah 40 is the only basis for comfort in perplexity, for those who wait on this God will be strengthened.
