Is God Sadistic? Is Jesus God? This lecture should help you a little with those

291

Did you know that Genesis 15 = Matthew 26:36-55? What's that you say? Did you just ask, “How can anything in Genesis 15 relate to Gethsemane?” Oh, you think Genesis 15 is Abram asking God how he is going to inherit a great nation? Well... that would be incorrect. I'll tell you what; back that tape up in your head so we can record some new information on it. Oh, and by the way... there's been about four lectures before this one on Genesis 15 in this series, so after you listen to this one, you might as well go back and listen to those.

Okay, that's just my comments from the peanut gallery. And no, this is not pastor Chronister writing under a pseudonym. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Dave, aka, Supper Dave, and I'm your very biased commentator. But, on with the lecture...

Well, I thought we were going to start the lecture, but our pastor has run off on a rabbit trail. It's good though. “Good” in Cliffside means we're probably gonna step on your toes.

We're going over the animals God brings up in this chapter, and we are talking about the young goat. So, off we go to Leviticus 16. Yes, that's Yom Kippur. FYI... all of these animals are pictures of Christ's sacrifice. If you're using the Old King James, it has the correct phrase in verse 8, “Take Me...”

In this study we will talk about the Flaming Torch and the Smoking Furnace. All of the persons of the Godhood are represented here, but it's more than that, and we'll help you solve some things here. But... we can't do that unless you press play. So, open your TextBook, get out a notepad and let the advanced class begin.

Thank you very much for listening.
