Does God Occupy The Place Of Passion?

Unlike King David, King Hezekiah had gone sonless for many years. As in the case of Abraham, Hezekiah's son Manasseh was the heir of Hezekiah's old age. David's heart longed for a 'place' for God while Hezekiah longed for an heir for the Davidic dynasty.
