This sermon focuses on John 19:1-16 and the ending of the third part of the Gentile trail of Jesus, before Pilate. Symbolism and Irony abounds, again.God sovereignly works out His plan to deliver His Son to die for His people, to deliver them from sin and to Himself, but in a way that often symbolizes what is being accomplished.

John 19:1-16 gives us pictures of Christ as Second Adam, Son of Man and Son of God, Scapegoat and Sin Offering, and Savior King.
