Series Heidelberg Catechism

Text: Galatians 3:10-14, Lord's Day 15
As we confess the Apostles' Creed three names are spoked by us in rapid succession, and the persons we confess range from the sublime to the sinister. There is good reason why we must confess our belief in the suffering of our Savior, for in Christ's suffering God's curse against our sin is lifted.
- God's curse as explained in our Catechism.
a. Christ's cross delivers us from eternal condemnation.
b. Christ is condemned by an earthly judge.
c. Christ's crucifixion was cursed by God. - God's curse as explained by the Apostle Paul.
a. Cursed is everyone who does not abide by God's Law.
b. The righteous shall live by faith in Christ.
c. Christ has become our curse for us before God.
