The movie: "The Butler" - Nehemiah was more than a butler.

Nehemiah was a man of true prayer.

In Nehemiah 1:4-11 Nehemiah's prayer offers insight as to what true prayer is to be like.

He first of all recognizes the Lord for who He is and for what He has done.

He then repents before the Lord as he comes into His holy presence.

Then Nehemiah calls the Lord to remember His promises and give success based on His will.
