The People Rebel like Korah, Dathan and Abirum (and On)

Among the landmarks of Old Testament History is the Rebellion of Korah, Nadab and Abihu (and On). While some New Testament believers could tell you what this judgment was about, I don't think many could easily reference the Book and Chapter where it is found. This should not be.

It is my conviction that this judgment is supposed to function as a headline... a reminder of what happens to all who rebel against God. Where else do you read about the Earth opening its mouth and swallowing those opposing the Lord and His anointed one?

The Holy Spirit would impress upon all of God's children their need to hear and heed His word.
