Glorify Thy Son

The Father glorifying the Son was predestined. Jesus' prayer was consistent with God's will. As God, Jesus requested no glory; but, as the God-Man, Satisfaction, Substitute and Suffering-Servant, Jesus issued HIs petition. The Father glorified Him by sustaining HIm, approving and imputing His earned-righteousness, by granting Him a glorified resurrected body and by receiving Him in His ascension to His right hand.
