Was Paul Quoting Joel? And some say the Old Testament doesn't apply today

Oh good... our pastor starts out by clearing up what he said in lecture number 11. It sounded like he said something to the effect of, "God refers to Himself as the father of death." Actually, our pastor was talking about Adam and then said, "...as God defines death, he calls himself the father of death as referenced in Romans 5." So, it's Adam who call himself the father of death, not God.

We start with the considerable challenge which is Joel 3, and so we need to refer to the list our pastor recently put on the board, and perhaps add to it. But let's start with the "BEHOLD!" and find out more. Because, trust me, there's much more. You've got to know what days and what time Joel is referring to.

Joel 2:32 is who Paul was quoting in Romans 10:13. So let’s see some of what God wants us to find. What you'll learn here may be a little different than what you may have thought, but don’t run away screaming just yet.

Here Jesus Christ proclaims that He is the Lord God of Israel. And, that their rejection of Christ is not final. There will come a time when All of Israel will be saved. This a tribulational event, referring to, “all the Jews alive at that time” will be saved.

There is much more to this lecture and I should stop typing so you can get on with it.

Thanks so much for listening. And for those who feel lead to support this ministry, we can't thank you enough.

Before you press play you'll need a notebook and your TextBook.

Feel free to write or call this pastor with questions and encouragement. You mean more to us and him than you know.
