The Newness of the New Covenant & The Law of Christ

The New Testament reveals that the true "Israel" is not an ethnic nation but rather a spiritual nation of believers in Christ. All who are in the New Covenant are born again, rather than a mixture of believers and unbelievers. In the Old Testament, God promised a "New Covenant" that would one day come in which representatives from all nations would be saved. We now look to Christ and follow his example of "bearing one another's burdens" for our ethical standard.
