The Christian Hope of Transformation

God, who is eternally the same, created man with the capacity to be changed, Through Christ's death, and the power of His resurrection those who become Christians can know the glory of a changed and transformed life. Without being changed none are able to enter heaven.

From Genesis to Revelation, from creation to the new heavens and new earth, the Bible explains God's great purpose of transformation.

The Bible tells us of change even in the religious order. From the Jewish religious life, from the Tabernacle to the Temple - we learn that these are overtaken by the advent of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the bringing forth of the New Testament church.

God's great purpose for every Christian is that they will be changed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. may the transformation of our lives make us more like Him. Surely this has to be the Christian's glorious hope, a hope which is not at all uncertain.
