Thirsting For God

What value do you place on the opportunity to worship God and fellowship with the saints? How precious to you is your relationship with the family of God? Here the psalmist experiences separation from the public ordinances of God, and at the same time, a feeling of separation from and abandonment by the Lord Himself. He finds himself thirsting for God, as a hunted deer longs and thirsts for brooks of water.
