Pastor Wagner continues the “One New Man in Christ” topic with the duties of the congregation. As parts of one body, we must function as God intended. Paul is not describing ideals and abstractions, but real flesh and blood congregations of those who have responded to the gospel call. He also cites two reasons why members sinfully divide the body of Christ by failing to function as gifted servants to one another.
