The Gospel of the Kingdom - Message 38 - Our Father in Heaven - Matthew 6:8-9. As Jesus gives His disciples instructions about how to pray by giving them "The Lord's Prayer", He is actually giving a pattern for us upon which to build all our prayers. More than reciting this one prayer we find in it principles and the purposes behind all prayer. In these first two verses we learn how prayer is an act of worship and adoration as we commune with Our Father in Heaven whose name is Holy.
