Kings in Consternation
70
Hardly anything is easier to forget, hardly anything is more dangerous to forget than the fact that God is, was, and will continue to be a jealous God. II Kings 3:1-27 is a remarkable chapter that includes four different human kings. Desperate an appalling things happen this chapter. All the kings are most certainly in consternation! What has changed? We are instructed in the New Testament to pray for kings and those in authority. This sermon may help you do that in a time when such praying is especially useful. Put on your shock absorbers for some of the content in this chapter.
