The Prophecy of Enoch

Jude writes to encourage his readers as they contend for the faith. Part of that is the encouragement that the fight does not go on for ever, that God knows all about the enemy, and that God has prepared their judgement. Jude points his readers to a work they knew well, the non-canonical "Book of Enoch", which draws on a number of canonical books, and presents a picture of the judgement.
