Bringing up children

With the different 'works' in the congregation among the children and young people coming to a close for the summer break, it is an opportunity to do a little stocktaking about bringing up children.

This text is an exhortation to parents, adults and all Christian workers among children.

Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit sets before us:

1. The spirit in which we bring up children - fathers provoke not your children to wrath;

2. The method with which we bring up bring children - in the nurture .... of the Lord;

3. The purpose in bringing up children - in the admonition of the Lord. [The word 'admonition' means to lay something down in the mind]
