The creator Father reveals the depths of his Fatherhood in the gracious act of redemption. He seeks and saves his lost children, sending his only begotten son into the world that he might gather his scattered family. He has not sent to the Son to condemn the world, but that it might be saved through him. Noel Due opens up this theme from the disciples' comments about their enemies, the Samaritans.
