'Nuggets From Genesis' Pt1

182

On the Bible study last week, we visited Genesis 24 where we saw the amazing connection between Eliazar meeting Rebekah at the well with a pitcher of water, and the mysterious man with the pitcher of water leading the disciples to the upper room for the Last Supper. Genesis is a huge book, and this was really just a tasty nugget for us to dive into and feast on. So with that in mind, tonight we start our multi-part series of gleaning more of these nuggets from Genesis as the Holy Spirit would lead us to uncover.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1 (KJB)

On this episode of Rightly Dividing, since we studied the marriage of Rebekah, a type of the Body of Christ, to Isaac a type of Jesus Christ, it would seem to me that the best place to start our new Genesis series would be to study the birth of Esau and Jacob. God has a way of using siblings to teach prophecy, and in the births of Cain and Abel, Isaac and Ishmael, and Esau and Jacob, we see not only prophecy but a recurring prophetical theme going on that begins in Genesis and carries all the way through to the time of Jacob's trouble. The line of Abel ends with Jesus Christ, the line of Cain ends with Antichrist, and along the way we see the 6,000 year battle for the title deed to planet Earth, and the right to decide who will be be crowned King of Kings. Join us tonight for Part 1 of Nuggets from Genesis here on the NTEB Rightly Dividing King James Bible Study starting at 9PM EST.
