The Glories of the Messianic Age

Which has greater influence on politics: People or ideas? Since the age of enlightenment it seems ideas have had more to say. The idea of Manifest Destiny supported the claiming of territory of most of the United States. This was presumptuous of the American politicians of the day, but the idea is taught in scripture. Mankind will see a divinely appointed manifest destiny in the end times and will see its end purpose.
