Benedictions go back a long ways - all the way back to the days of Moses who was instructed by God to bless the people of God in Numbers 6. A benediction is a prayer that calls on God to do certain things for His people. Paul utilized benedictions in his epistles and now we find Peter doing the same thing as he closes his epistle. In this study we consider how rich and applicable such a benediction is for the people of God today.
