Encouragement for Weary Workers

Discouragement is one of the greatest tools that Satan uses against the church. Paul also became weary, and this passage shows three ways that Jesus recharges His weary workers. First, Paul is encouraged by fellowship with God's people in his acquaintance with Aquilla and Priscilla and with the arrival of Silas and Timothy. Paul is also encouraged when he sees Gospel fruit of unbelievers in Corinth and when he heard of the sanctification of the Macedonian believers. Thirdly, Paul is encouraged by Gospel faith, and trusting in God's sovereignty.
