Nations need Godly politicians but in reality the greatest need of the nations is Godly preachers.

In this hour that we live in:

1. The conscience is under attack.
2. The family is under attack
3. The Word is under attack
4. Government is Under attack.
5. The Church is under attack.

J Hyles wrote: The most important hour of the week in the nation is the hour when God’s men approach the pulpit.

John Hall said “ A strong and faithful pulpit is the safeguard to a nations life.

John Newton said: Preaching is breaking the hard heart and healing the broken one.

We need to pray for politicians but pray for preachers.

God can turn a nation from its evil ways.

All Nineveh needed was a preacher.

All Jerusalem needed after the death of Christ was a Preacher.

All America needed was a Preacher and God gave them Moody.

All Scotland needed was a Preacher and God gave them John Knox.

All England needed was a Preacher and God sent Wesley.

May the Lord help us to love old fashioned Spirit filled, sin hating, Saviour loving preaching.
