Jonah: The Unforgiving Prophet

Chapter four reveals Jonah as an angry, unforgiving prophet. He is upset with God because Ninevah repented at the warning of impending judgment, and because God relented over their changed hearts and ways. Jonah rebukes God and sits outside of the city pouting and expecting God to do something about it. God spends the chapter dealing with Jonah's unforgiving anger and seeking to bring his prophet to repentance.
