Ready for Christ's Coming

The promise of Christ to return to our planet and to bring his work of redemption to its climax must always be our hope. That will be the day when our battle with sin and death will be over and we will always be with the Lord. If we give up this hope that our Lord has promised, we will soon find that we have lost all hope. So, being ready for this day is basic to living the Christian life. The light of that new day is already shining for us, so we won't be taken unawares by Christ's coming.
