The Judgment of God

The first chapter of Romans shows the desperate state of unbelievers before God. Just when the believers might think they are all right, Paul begins chapter 2 by showing they, too, are without excuse before God. Those who sin without the law, and those who sin under it, have the same status in God's sight. And all their secrets will be brought into the open in the day of God's judgment.
