There is a natural sorrow.

There is a worldly sorrow that leads to death. II Corinthians 7:10
Sorrow because I was caught.
Sorrow because I have to face the consequences.
There is a Godly sorrow that brings repentance that leads to salvation.

Discuss what it means to be spiritually poor.
Can you point to a time when you encountered God and recognized your spiritual poverty?
What does it mean to mourn?
Discuss the difference between worldly sorrow and Godly sorrow.
If we grieve now, we will enjoy the blessings of being comforted.
Are there still areas of your life that God is dealing with and
bringing you to repentance?
