Pastoral Visit June 24, 2020

Dear Pittsford Community Church Family,

2 Corinthians 7:1 says, " Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God." Think about your favorite promise from Scripture—for example, "I will never leave you or give up on you." There are so many promises that motivate us to live pure lives as God transforms us into His holy people.

Let me invite you to begin attending services at PCC live on Sundays, 10:30 am, if you feel comfortable doing so. With our overflow in the Family Life Center we can accommodate over 170 people and the time together is valuable even with our six-foot distancing. Six feet can't separate us from meaningful fellowship! (Of course, livestreaming is still available.)

This Sunday our Spanish language service will reopen in the Apex (10:30 am) under the inspiring leadership of Mauricio and Bess Riveros. Keep this part of the PCC family in your prayers.

Be sure to read the weekly virtual-bulletin for information about prayer requests, the organ fund, and other items of interest. The library repurposing is coming along well. Many of you have downloaded the church app for registering your attendance. The leadership team is working on plans to change worship service times in the fall in order to allow for greater spacing (and to enhance Sunday School, once we're open at that level). Thanks again for your patience and cooperation as we move together through this Covid era and the reopening of our (God's) church. See you soon!
