Blessing the LORD

How is this Psalm a song of degrees for the priests whose one task was to serve the LORD? How do we see that our Mediator, our Sanctuary is Christ Himself? How is it to ‘lift up hands in Christ’ really a Spiritual activity much like a bigger pleading for help? How is blessing the LORD a command? Is there any other reason to gather with the LORD’s people, to bless Him?
