Praying to God

All that the Apostle wrote in chapter 2 respecting the difficulties and challenges of Christians during the days of “the man of lawlessness” and of God’s purpose and provision for their salvation through these hard times, moved Paul to pray faithfully and fervently for these Christians. We may be motivated and instructed through these words in our own prayer life. In addition, the apostle wrote of the faithfulness of our Lord. In contrast to those who oppose the truth, for “Not all men have the faith,”, Paul declared, “But the Lord is faithful.” This is a declaration of the great attribute of God, His immutability. We take time to address this matter and some common errors and misunderstanding regarding it.
