The Fait Accompli Continues

While the Jews sought Pilate’s cooperation in killing Jesus to keep the status quo of Judaism, and while Pilate sought to keep his position of authority and squelch this uprising in Judea, they were simply living out the Fait Accompli of God’s eternal plan of redemption, and Jesus’ eternal reign. Jesus is the King of Kings, and we, Brethren, are vassals of King Jesus, purchased by His blood. Therefore, it is only logical that we live as citizens of heaven, rather than citizens of this world.
