Ministry Glasses

In his description of Epaphroditus in v.25, Paul gives us glasses that show us the camaraderie of ministry (it makes us a brotherhood), the cooperation of ministry (we are parts of the one body doing one work, and so the importance of your ministry is measured not by which part of the body you are, but by how faithful you are in that role), courage needed in ministry (we are soldiers fighting in a war), and the commissioning of ministry (when your calling is authorized by the church, you can be confident that you are commissioned by God to do that work). And the motive for ministry is love.
