The Wisdom of Micah

For our first-hour service, Pastor Simpson stepped away from Proverbs and our wisdom series to consider thoughts from the book of Micah. In Micah's day, as in our own, the world was filled with religion - a false religion encouraging the people to worship God YHWY wrongly. Micah came to preach to the lowly and to the average. Micah prophesied of Jesus and the Messiah that would come to save His people and judge the nation of Israel and the world. The wise consider the prophesy and historic truths of Micah, and see the Messiah in his writings. Additionally, Micah speaks to the remnant of God's elect according to the election of grace.
