Sermon Point: Follow the light!
Summary: The context is once again the Feast of Booths commemorating Israel's forty years in the wilderness. Part of the celebration was the lighting of two great candelabra in the Court of women in the Temple compound to commemorate the Shekinah glory leading the people through the wilderness. Christ declared He was the rock in the wilderness giving water to the people (John 7:37, 1 Corinthians 10:1-4). He now declares He is the Shekinah glory; He is the light the people must follow. We too must follow this light.
