Sanctified

God's great concern for his people is their holiness, a growing conformity to Christ Jesus for his glory and our good. Here we trace something of that holiness: its joy, its heart, its root, its path, its agent, its means, its power, its end, and its call. Here we see the growing momentum of the salvation which God has bestowed upon his people, and how it carries us toward the ultimate end of perfect likeness to God's Son, that he might have pre-eminence as the firstborn among many brothers.
