King Nebuchadnezzar's dream and the stone, mountain, and Kingdom

This KJV bible lesson is part of our series addressing the differences between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven.

This sermon takes deep dive into King Nebuchadnezzar and his dream in Daniel 2.

King Nebuchadnezzar cannot recall his dream. Daniel shows up and makes clear to the King 2 things:

💡The wise men, astrologers, magicians, and soothsayers CANNOT reveal anything to the king.
💡He is no wiser than any other man.
💡But there is a God in heaven who IS and He can revealeth secrets.

When Daniel comes before the King, he takes the opportunity to give God the glory and also makes clear there is a latter day's prophesy concerning end-times.

The great image that Daniel reveals represents the 4 major kingdoms on the earth:

Head of gold represents the Babylonian kingdom
Breast and arms of silver represents the Medo-Persian kingdom
Belly and thighs of brass represent the Grecian kingdom.
Leg of iron represents the Roman kingdom.
10 toes represent the final form of Rome with 10 sub-kingdoms ruling in Revelation. (see Rev 13:1; Rev 17:2-5, 7, 12)
